The Sacramento Kings have unveiled a new mobile application for fans. It will give users information about parking, traffic, restroom and concession stand lines, plus team updates and information.
The basketball team's Chief Technology Officer Ryan Montoya says fans will also have a chance to compete against each other using the app, with the top scorers getting their names up on the scoreboard.
"Before each game we'll give every fan about 10,000 points to bet on various game outcomes, everything from the leading scorer to the leading rebounder, who will win the game, what the final score will be," says Montoya.
Montoya says the app can take advantage of special features at the Golden 1 Center, allowing them to see multi-angle replays. It will also feature KAI, which stands for Kings Artificial Intelligence. It's a Facebook Messenger bot that can answer questions.
