There was also a movement from a Mozart piano quartet, and a piano four hands duo performed Leonard Bernstein’s “Mambo” from “West Side Story,” with a little help from the VIP audience.
The $16.8 million, 17,000 square-foot Pitzer Center bears the name of Ann E. Pitzer, a UC Davis graduate back in the 1950s who left a $5 million bequest.
