Sacramento police are investigating a shooting that took place early Saturday morning, leaving one man dead and another in serious condition.
According to a department statement, police responded to a report of a shooting on the 2100 block of 16th street at 1:32 a.m., and arrived to find two male victims with gunshot wounds. One victim was pronounced dead after being taken to an area hospital. The other remains in the hospital.
The victim’s identity has not yet been released, and no arrests have been made.
