Monday is the last day to register to vote in the November election.
The deadline is midnight to register online -- at RegisterToVote.ca.gov. Those registering will need a California driver's license or state identification card, the last four digits of a social security number and date of birth.
If using a paper registration form, it needs to be postmarked on or before Monday's deadline. Those forms are available at post offices, DMV offices, libraries and county elections offices.
Voters may need to register again if they have moved or changed their names.
The Secretary of State's office is holding a voter registration drive from 11 a.m. to 5 p.m. on the North Steps of the the state Capitol -- on the L Street side.
