Long lines are expected at Cal Expo Thursday as people sign-up for a free clinic. The event is the first clinic put on in Sacramento by the group, California Care Force, since 2012.
More than 2,000 people are expected to be treated during the three-day event that begins Friday and will last through Sunday.
Registration on-site begins at 4 p.m. Thursday. Unlike years past, those signing up won't be able to camp out, but will instead be given wrist bands with their appointment time.
More than 650 doctors, oral surgeons, dentists, optomologists and pharmacists are volunteering their services.
The clinic is open to anyone, no questions asked, and no identification or insurance card is needed.
