(AP) - Authorities have identified the person who died when a small plane crashed into a house north of an airport in the San Francisco Bay Area.
The
Sacramento Bee reported Saturday 57-year-old Melissa Magee, of Sacramento, died Friday when the Cessna 175 her husband Stephen Magee was piloting crashed into a home. Stephen Magee suffered serious injuries.
Dick Tak, secretary-treasurer of Sac Aero Flying Club, of which Stephen Magee is an original member and which owned the Cessna, says the Magees were taking a flight from Sacramento to Half Moon Bay to enjoy the weather.
The National Transportation Safety Board is investigating.
