The State of California is out with a new plan to reduce greenhouse gas emissions an additional 40 percent beyond 2020 goals. The draft proposal was released Friday and calls for the most-ambitious reduction in North America.
Richard Corey with the California Air Resources Board, or CARB… joins us to discuss how this plan would work and how it could affect residents and businesses in the state.
Currently, the state is working toward 2020 goals, and this new plan builds on that by further reducing the target by 40 percent, with a 2030 timeline.
