The Sacramento Fire Department says an 87-year-old man and a 76-year-old woman died in a house fire that broke out around 12:10 a.m. Saturday on the 100 block of Creekside Circle in South Sacramento.
One firefighter was also taken to the hospital with minor burn injuries.
The cause of the fire is still under investigation, and the names of the victims have not been released.
