(AP) - Northern California authorities have found the body of a man who was seen drowning in a Vacaville irrigation canal.
Police say they received calls around 7 a.m. Saturday about a man yelling and apparently drowning in a 10-foot-deep Solano Irrigation District canal.
Rescue crews arrived but couldn't see anyone. Divers were called in.
The man's body was recovered about seven hours after the search began.
His name hasn't been released.
