California Republicans are excited about the incoming Trump Administration.
Hillary Clinton beat Donald Trump by more than four million votes in California. But state Republicans are excited about their prospects in the new Trump administration. KQED’s senior editor for politics and government Scott Shafer reports from Washington. And many of California’s Democratic mayors are in DC for their annual meeting – but plan to flee for the airport once it concludes on Thursday. That doesn’t mean the incoming Trump administration and national policy will be ignored over the next two days of the conference, as KQED’s Guy Marzorati reports.
