Davis Police and the FBI have served a search warrant related to the hate crime at a mosque on January 23.
The two agencies are working to jointly investigate the vandalism, that included strips of bacon placed on door handles at the Davis Islamic Center.
The consumption of pork is forbidden in the Islamic faith.
Investigators say they will analyze evidence collected at the searched Davis location and work with prosecutors to determine the next step.
Security tape from the mosque shows a woman was responsible for the vandalism, which also included broken windows and punctured bike tires.
