A Sacramento CHP officer badly injured in a hit-and-run on Interstate 80 in April is back at work on limited duty.
Officer Marc Ericson underwent several surgeries and spent months in the Intensive Care Unit following the incident.
The CHP says Ericson was on the side of the freeway near Madison Avenue when 28-year-old Austin Scott intentionally backed a stolen truck into him and took off.
Scott was arrested in Fairfield after a 50-mile chase.
