The Lake Oroville Power Plant is back online with a goal to bring the facility up to full capacity in the days to come.
At that point, up to 13,000 cubic feet of water per second can be released through the plant.
This could allow operators to keep the gates of the main spillway closed while debris removal continues at the base of that structure.
Oroville's lake level continues to rise as inflow exceeded releases.
As of Monday afternoon, the lake is 45 feet from full capacity.
