Elias Blessett wants a bigger life than the one he has been shown in foster care his junior year of high school. He’s been up close and personal to random violence. And he believes that education is his way out.  Blessett doesn’t just want to survive.  He sees a world far beyond Arden Arcade and wants to experience that world through travel.  In these final months of the school year, he remains focused, determined and ready to graduate from Encina Prep High School this year.
