Update 11:50 a.m.: The Sacramento County Sheriff's Department says a woman was found dead a little after 8:30 a.m. Tuesday. She was located inside her apartment on Bell Street suffering from multiple stab wounds.
Detectives are looking into the connection between the female victim and the male victim found on Fair Oaks Boulevard earlier Tuesday morning.
The identities of the victims will not be released until the next of kin is notified.
Detectives are asking anyone with information to contact the Sheriff's Department or Sacramento Valley Crime Stoppers.
Original: The Sacramento County Sheriff's Department says a man was found dead Tuesday morning on Fair Oaks Boulevard.
At around 4 a.m., deputies got a call about an unidentified male victim in his 30s in the 2300 block of Fair Oaks Boulevard. The man was found in a parking lot near Fulton Avenue and the Pavilions Shopping Center.
The man was unresponsive and suffering from upper body trauma, according to the Sheriff's Department.
Deputies are investigating. The identity of the man will not be released until the next of kin is notified. The coroner's office will determine the cause of death.
