Update 11:00 a.m.: SMUD says power has been restored to most customers in the Arden area following an outage Wednesday morning.
Line crews are working to make pole repairs following a vehicle accident that caused the outage.
Original: The Sacramento Municipal Utility District reported a power outage at 7 a.m. that left nearly 11,000 customers without power in the Arden area near Howe Avenue and Hurley Way.
At about 7:45 a.m., it said on Twitter that a vehicle was the cause for the outage. It is switching circuits to restore power.
