Two schools in Woodland are shutting down to help slow the spread of Norovirus.
Yolo County's Health Officer and the Woodland Joint Unified School District say they'll shut down Dingle and Tafoya elementary schools on Friday.
This will extend the holiday weekend by one day, giving administrators a longer period to aggressively clean the facilities.
There are nearly 3,400 students and school staff who have been affected by the Norovirus outbreak this month.
