UPDATE 7:25 P.M.: The Placer County Sheriff's Office says an arrest has been made in connection to the Stagecoach Fire.
UPDATE 4:56 P.M.: CAL FIRE has lifted all road closures and evacuations for the Stagecoach Fire in Placer County.
UPDATE 4:08 P.M.: Mandatory evacuations are still in place this afternoon for some residents in Placer County, but CAL FIRE says the forward progress of the Stagecoach Fire has stopped.
It's burning on the Upper Stagecoach Trail in the Auburn State Recreation Area, between the City of Auburn and the American River.
The fire burned about five acres.
UPDATE 2:45 P.M.: CAL FIRE says the forward progress of the Stagecoach Fire has stopped but evacuations are still in effect. The fire is burning on the Upper Stagecoach Trail in the Auburn State Recreation Area in Placer County.
ORIGINAL: CAL FIRE says firefighters are responding to a vegetation fire on Upper Stagecoach Trail in the Auburn State Recreation Area in Placer County.
Mandatory evacuations are in effect for the following areas: Oak Haven Road, Flood Road, Woodland Pl., Lamborn Lane Temple Drive, Tierra Way Mountain Avenue and Sierra Way.
It is estimated to be four to five acres.
