The former president of the Sacramento Kings is heading to Detroit.
Chris Granger is the new president of sports and entertainment for the company that owns the Detroit Tigers and Detroit Red Wings.
Granger left the Kings last month, saying he was looking for a new challenge.
He's credited with helping get the Golden One Center built.
Detroit is scheduled to open a new arena for the Red Wings and Pistons in September.
