UPDATE 5:07 P.M.: All evacuations have been lifted, though Greenhorn Access Road remains closed, according to the Nevada County Sheriff's Department.
A new fire has sparked up southeast of Grass Valley on the Nevada County side of the Nevada-Placer County line near the Greenhorn Campground.
The California Highway Patrol is assisting with evacuations for the Greenhorn Fire, near Rollins Lake and Highway 174. CAL FIRE announced mandatory evacuations for Louis Road, Frederick Way and Marie Lane, and are advising people to avoid the area.
CAL FIRE is reporting that forward progress on the fire has been stopped.
