Two suspects wanted in the killing of a gas station worker in South Sacramento in July have been extradited back to Sacramento from Mexico. Sacramento sheriff's officials say 24-year-old Rodolfo Zavala and 16-year-old Ramon Zavala were arrested in a collaborative investigation involving the FBI and Mexican officials.
The sheriff's department says the two suspects were wanted in the killing of 20-year-old Simranjit Singh, who had confronted a group at the gas station on Florin Road after a co-worker was assaulted. That co-worker argued with the suspects because they were loitering in the parking lot.
