Sacramento area air quality and health officials are advising people to take precautions and minimize outdoor activities today because of smoke coming into the Sacramento region from the fires.
They say everyone should cut down on outdoor activities if they smell smoke, even if you're healthy.
They warn that the smoke is especially harmful for older adults, young children and people with pre-existing health conditions.
Solano and Yolo counties are expected to have the highest levels of pollution. San Joaquin Valley air pollution officials have also put out a smoke warning.
