Residents of nine California counties affected by wildfires this month are getting some help from the DMV.
Those who lost documents in the fires, including drivers licenses, vehicle registration and titles, will have fees waived for replacements.
In addition, fire victims can get substitute license plates and stickers.
Governor Jerry Brown issued the emergency proclamation this week.
Counties covered under emergency proclamations include Butte
Lake Mendocino, Napa, Nevada, Orange, Solano, Sonoma and Yuba.
