Californians have until midnight Monday, May 21, to register to vote for the June 5 primary election.
Eligible voters can register online at the California Secretary of State’s website. If you're unsure whether you're registered, check the site’s “voter status” page.
The Secretary of State’s office reports about 19 million eligible Californians are currently registered to vote, while another 6 million are eligible but not registered.
After Monday's deadline, voters may still conditionally register to vote, but must go to their county elections office, where they can receive a provisional ballot.
