UPDATED 7:57 p.m.: Cal Fire says the Irish Fire burning off Irish Ridge and Carbondale roads southwest of Plymouth in Amador County is now 40 percent contained, and forward spread has stopped.
Mandatory Evacuations remain in place for Willow Creek Ranch Estates.
The fire is now 790 acres.
