Pete Buttigieg, South Bend mayor and Democratic presidential hopeful, is scheduled to hold a "grassroots picnic" in Sacramento on Sunday, September 29 at 1 p.m. The location is undisclosed until RSVP.
He is the third 2020 presidential candidate to visit the Sacramento area, after Washington Gov. Jay Inslee, who has since dropped out of the race, and Sen. Bernie Sanders.
Ticket prices range from $5 (student) to $250 (sponsor).
There will also be a major donor event in Sacramento the same day hosted by local politicians, including West Sacramento Mayor Christopher Cabaldon and Sacramento Councilmember Steve Hansen
