Health care workers across the country are reporting shortages of personal protective equipment, also called PPE, which includes gowns, face shields and respiratory masks.
There are a number of crowdsourced organizations collecting donations — including GetusPPE.org, DonatePPE.org, Mask Match and PPE Link.
Some Sacramento-area hospitals are also accepting donations if you have masks or other equipment available. Here's what we've been able to find out about different hospitals and health care providers in the region. If you see something that has changed or something we can add, email us at [email protected].
