You won't want to miss this afternoon's Midday Masterpiece. Violinist Midori performs the diabolically virtuosic Violin Concerto No.1 by the great master of the instrument, Nicolo Paganini. Paganini was known to withhold certain pieces of music from publication because he didn't want to give away the secrets of his technique and virtuosity. But that was in the 19th Century. Today we get to immerse ourselves in many of his great compositions including the Violin Concerto in E flat which you will hear at 2 p.m. today on CapRadio Music.
