We're showcasing different women in classical music of the past and today during Women's History Month. Today you'll hear two German women: composer Fanny Mendelssohn (1805-1847) and violinist Anne-Sophie Mutter (born 1963) alternating each hour. At 2:00 pm, Mutter is the soloist in the Sibelius Violin Concerto for today's Midday Masterpiece.
