Beethoven by J.P. Lyser (1825)
The Archduke Rudolf of Austria was an avid patron of Beethoven. This earned him several dedications over the years including the Opus 97 which is known as the "Archduke" Piano Trio. Hear Vladimir Ashkenazy, Itzhak Perlman, and Lynn Harrell perform this mid-period masterwork of Beethoven's at 2 p.m. today.
