The Grammy nominated album from the Los Angeles Philharmonic
Los Angeles Philharmonic Music Director Gustavo Dudamel has won four Grammys for as many nominations; three wins were for “Best Orchestral Performance.” He and the LA Phil are nominated in that category again this year for their recording of the Dvorak Symphonies 7, 8 and 9. The Grammys will be awarded this Sunday February 5th, and you can hear the LA Phil’s Grammy nominated recording of Dvorak’s 9th, the “New World Symphony,” for today’s Midday Masterpiece.
