In his 68th year, French composer Théodore Dubois wrote a quintet for piano, oboe and string trio (single violin, viola and cello). The result is an elegant example of late French Romanticism. The 1905 Piano Quintet in F major by Théodore Dubois is today’s Midday Masterpiece.
