Alexander Glazunov in 1907
Russian composer Alexander Glazunov’s two-movement Piano Concerto No. 1 opens with an Allegro, and the second movement mimics additional traditional movements through a theme and variations in different styles like a slow movement, scherzo and finale. It’s today’s Midday Masterpiece.
