“Like the most perfect postcard” – The music of Finland’s most famous composer can be a series of glorious landscapes and wildlife and colors, all brought to life through epic orchestral climaxes. Jean Sibelius's Symphony No. 2 has perhaps the most glorious of those climaxes, the entire work building to its epic finale. That's our Midday Masterpiece today at 2pm.
