This season of NY Phil concerts includes a showcase of compositions by Gustav Mahler with fantastic guest conductors and soloists, October 1st through December 3rd broadcasts.

The Showcase concludes this week and features conductor Bruno Walter who knew Mahler and conducted premieres of many of his works including Das Lied von der Erde, which Walter conducts on today program:
