Jingle Bell Jazz is a tradition we’ve nurtured at Capital Public Radio for many years running. This year, Gary Vercelli will host four solid hours of holiday favorites. You’ll hear Christmas cheer from veteran artists, including Herbie Hancock, Tony Bennett, Ellis Marsalis, and Nancy Wilson plus classics from Lou Rawls, Oscar Peterson, and Vince Guaraldi. There will also be contemporary holiday music from Diana Krall, Joey DeFrancesco, Marilyn Scott, Gregory Porter, Ann Hampton Callaway, and many more.
This year, we’ll also feature some poignant verbal reflections on the season by CapRadio’s Donna Apidone. Whatever you end up doing Christmas Eve, Jingle Bell Jazz will enhance your evening!
