Recognized for her renditions of Russian, Hungarian and Eastern European classics, concert pianist Tanya Vegvary Plescia will be performing an interpretation of Prokofiev’s famous first concerto Wednesday, Oct. 29 and Saturday, Nov. 1 as part of American River College’s “Russian Masters” program. The ARC Symphony Orchestra will accompany Plescia with ARC Music Professor Steven Thompson conducting. Both concerts are at the ARC Theater in Sacramento and all proceeds benefit the college’s music department.
