When I was a young boy my uncle bought me my first classical LP for Xmas. It was Prokofiev, "Peter & the Wolf." I listened to it over and over. I guess I found the dissonance in Prokofiev's music fascinating.
My uncle continued to give me more classical LP's every Xmas. I have to say that to this day, over 70 years later, Prokofiev is one of my top 5 classical composers.
