Sacramento, CA
For more than a decade, Sacramento-based women’s vocal choir Vox Musica has been pushing the musical boundaries and innovating classical repertoire.
Founder and music director Daniel Paulson has worked with hundreds of composers, many of them local, to create unique musical pieces heard in dozens of languages. Back in February, the group collaborated with Bay Area-based multi-instrumentalist Laura Inserra and Sacramento resident poet Renee Auburn for a unique concert experience. You can see a video of their performance below.
The three joined Vox Musica vocalist Heather Razo in studio for a conversation about the collaboration.
