The experimental pop rock band Pregnant is a musical project started by Daniel Trudeau over a decade ago in Placerville. The band relocated to midtown Sacramento, and grew to include Christian Meinke, Matt Tucker, Ben Lewis and Brynley Stoner.
The band’s 2017 release “Duct Tape” continued the exploration of new musical territory with a blend of analog and digital instruments, and samples of vintage music and field recordings.
Before heading out for tour stops in South Korea, Japan, and Treefort Music Festival in Boise, Idaho, Pregnant stopped by the Insight studio to perform new music from “Duct Tape.”
Pregnant is performing at the E.M. Wolfman Bookstore in Oakland on Friday, April 6, and at the Elbo Room in San Francisco on May 26.
