When his second wife, Carol, was diagnosed with ovarian cancer he decided he was going to do things differently.
In the lead up to the airing of Capital Public Radio’s latest documentary “Who Cares,” Insight in focusing on different aspects of caregiving. Today, we’ll talk with the Air Force veteran and former Beale AFB historian about his experiences. He has written a book, “The Dhance: A Caregiver’s Search for Meaning,” to help other people, especially men, who find themselves suddenly caring for an ill or seriously injured loved ones.
