No, it’s not a remembrance of someone named Mike, it’s a bad pun designed to excite you about a comedy show this holiday weekend featuring “The Mikes.” Mike O’Connell, Mike Betancourt, Micheal Calvin Jr. and Mike Sinclair are all stand-up comedians making humorous use of their shared forename as they tour Sacramento region stages. This Friday, they’re hoping to sell out the 500-seat Roseville Theatre Arts Academy with their Memorial Mike Day show.
