Two candidates are running for the top cop's spot in San Joaquin County -- the incumbent sheriff and one of his deputies. Also, just one county away another contentious sheriff's race is underway. Stanislaus County Sheriff Adam Christianson is running for a third term against one of his deputies, Tom Letras.
