A cardiac wellness program for people with no insurance? Dr. Tissa Kappagoda, a former Director of the UC Davis Cardiac Rehabilitation Program, has created a new plan to educate and help people before a major heart problem occurs or after their hospital-based rehab has ended. It’s free and accessible to people who meet certain criteria. This pilot program is housed now on the CSUS campus and could become a model for similar programs across the country as Dr. Kappagoda explains.
There is no website for this program but if you would like more information contact
