The American Cheese Society's annual cheese conference will be hosted in Sacramento, the nation's capital of Farm-to-Fork from July 29 to Aug 1. This year's theme is "Celebrating the American Cheese Plate." The conference is geared towards cheese producers, distributors, retailers, and enthusiasts, offering seminars ranging from the technical side of cheese production to cheese tasting. Darell Corti of Corti Brothers and Narsai David, the food and wine editor of SF KCBF- FM radio station, will be the keynote speakers for this year's conference. There will be a competition in the days leading up to the show, the winners will be featured at the conference's culminating event, The Festival of Cheese.
