A Malian Muslim is in musical fusion with an Israeli Jew at the Center for the Arts in Grass Valley this weekend. Guitarist Vieux Farka Toure and pianist Idan Raichel have reteamed for a new collaboration as The Toure-Raichel Collective. “The Paris Sessions” is the follow up to the duo’s acclaimed 2012 debut “The Tel Aviv Session.”
