Sacramento indie-band Sun Valley Gun Club talks with Insight in advance of their appearance Friday night at Pour House. They recently released their self-titled album in March and are currently on tour. Lead singer Evan Bailey will talk with Beth Ruyak to discuss their current tour, signing with up-and-coming record label "Transplant Sound," and the future of Sun Valley Gun Club.

Evan Bailey and Travis Quinn played in punk rock band "Carry The Torch" in 2010 but wanted to start a new band. Evan and Justin Butler have been friends since they were kids and kept in touch throughout the years. Ashley Maiden joined Evan, Travis and Justin after their previous bass player moved to Oregon in 2012.  Soon after, they became Sun Valley Gun Club and released their first album "Into the Valley Sun" in 2013.  Their second album, which is self-titled, was released in March.
