Nearly five years ago, Elon Musk, founder of Tesla, proposed a solution to California's traffic jams — a Hyperloop system. Musk didn’t put his team of engineers to work designing and developing what he’s termed the fifth mode of transportation.
Instead, he opened the project to universities across the globe and is providing the resources so others can make the Hyperloop vision a reality. Joining Insight, are two members of Sacramento State’s Hyperloop team, Paul Orozco and Dylan Cracraft. Also joining Insight is Dean Lorenzo Smith, academic advisor for the group and Dean of the College of Engineering at Sacramento State.
