Romayne Wheeler may be rooted in California but his passion for classical music has taken him around the globe. At a young age Romayne moved from Sonoma to Vienna to study classical piano. For decades, Wheeler composed and performed a wide range of classical music, until 20 years ago when he packed his Steinway in a garbage truck and moved to the Sierra Tarahumara mountains in Mexico. In a special concert at the Harris Center in Folsom, Wheeler shares his time living with the Rarámuri people in Mexico and his musical career. Wheeler performs in the Insight studio previewing the event.
