It’s time to dissect another album with Sacamento’s Cole Cuchna. Cuchna is a local musician who found a creative outlet dissecting the work of hip-hop artist Kendrick Lamar in a serialized podcast, Dissect. The podcast examined every song on Lamar’s critically-acclaimed 2015 album “To Pimp A Butterfy” and presented analysis in short, digestible episodes.

The result was a critically-acclaimed hit. Dissect Season 1 earned a spot as Google's Podcast of the Week, it was included as an Editor's Choice, and won a spot on Apple's Best of 2016 list.

Cuchna has turned his focus to Kanye West's 2010 comeback album "My Beautiful Dark Twisted Fantasy" for Season 2, which is set for release today.
